Hunting Trip

 HUNTING                                                           

                         

 GEAR FOR HUNTING

.

• Gun (with cover)
• Knife or machete
• camouflage clothes (WARM)
• Tent or shelter
• First aid kit
• Bullets
• Food & water
• Ute or 4 wheel drive                 
• Head torch  

One day I asked my dad if we could go hunting? He said “sure we will go hunting tonight.” So I got my pocket knife, my camouflage clothes and the rest of my gear then I put it all in my camouflage bag. At about 4.30 pm I said to my dad “Can we go now?” and he replied

“At about 6 pm.”

When it was 6 o’clock we went down to the river and then into the bushes. When we got in there we were sneaking around like army men. Then we heard a rattle so we stood still and a hare just ran straight up to us.

We just took a wee step back and the hare looked like oh no what do I do? Then dad suddenly shot the hare, like it was a really important animal. So I stabbed it just in case it was still alive and I carried the hare. In the distance we saw a stag with our head torch but it was too late to get it because it shot off into the distance.

We saw four rabbits running together in a little mob. Also that night we found a possum and we just about about missed it, but then dad just shot it like a crazy man. Then like always, I stabbed it just in case. Dad carried the stag home and I took the possum & hare home. THE NEXT DAY…

Dad and I skinned the possum and we gave the rest to the dogs. After that we went down to the meat works on our farm and brought our stag down to our meat works.  Noddy our neighbour chopped it up and cleaned it out.

I was very proud that I had helped dad catch a stag and we were going to eat it for our dinner.

One day Me & Dad found a treasure chest that was in a big pirate ship. That came out of the water well we were fishing. we got out a sword from the pirate ship.

And then a whole lot of zombies started jumping out of the water from the deep blue sea. They were surrounding us. They started climbing up like little spiders. Butt then i got a sword that was lying on the ground. Then i killed the zombies and we through the dead zombies off the edge of the boat. And we sailed back home and lived happily ever after
